Info on EK9 JDM Folding Mirrors
Alright, I've been looking for a while now. I'm wondering if there is a manual alternative to power folding mirrors for an EK?
Whoever has these mirrors: how is the visibility? They were designed for RHD, so I can imagine that it isn't too good.
Is there any way to switch hardware similar to this thread on EG mirrors?

Any info (and pics) are appreciated

hmm... there arent power folding manual mirrors. but there are folding power mirrors.
kinda confusing. but thats the way it is.
also ive heard of the issue with the RHD thing but about EG's and stuff havent yet heard anything on EK's so input on this with anyone that has them on would be nice.
i have them in a box but not going on the car until paintjob in sping.

I just got these. There being put on my car when it gets out of the shop. My car is silver but I'm debating on wether to paint them silver or keep them black. Anyways, they are powered, but I do not have powered mirrors. However, the option for them will be there if I decide to get the wiring harnesses down the road. About seing out of them-these aren't the "true" jdm ones-their americanized I guess you could say meaning the mirrors are made in them like the US mirrors (their not flipped like the jdm ones). http://216.82.69.117/detail.as...M-BLK

I mean mirrors that are controlled manually but can still fold parallel to the body. Basically: a folding mirror that you can adjust the view with a little joystick. The wording is strange, I know. I'm an English teacher, too...

Yeah, I havent heard a thing on this. I'm just assuming that there would be a visibility problem.

Thanks, that's what I was looking for.
Looks a lot like the "JDM" ones I see on Ebay.

I ordered some powered mirrors that are manually folding from somewhere of the net and they are great, I guess you would say "JDM Style" or whatever but they are great quality and normal, left hand drive visibility. I can't remember where I got them though
