How do you suggest I take off my harmonic balancer?
If that doesn't work, take it to a mechanic and have them loosen the bolt for you.
I did a mini me swap on a D16A6 and the bolt simply would not come out.
I tried every imaginable trick.
It took an acetylene torch to get it off. Hopefully yours won't be as bad.

I just got my crank bolt off last night. It was a bitch. I tried using an impact wrench, but that wasn't doing ****. Too small of a compressor.
So, put it in 5th, had my friend step on the brakes, and reefed on it with a ratchet & cheater bar. I broke 2 1/2"to3/8" reducers, & 1 3/8" ratchet. My second trip to sears for warranty in the same day I decided to pick up 1/2" ratchet & socket set, and a 1/2" breaker bar. The breaker bar with cheater bar on it, and me pulling on it
broke it loose. GET MAD!

lol you tried to use a 3/8" rachet to remove a crank pulley bolt, thats classic, hehe
1/2" breaker bar or 1/2" impact wrench with enough pressure behind it do the trick. the chrome sockets usually just break so i use an impact socket either way.

you know there is a tool that makes it easy it fits inside of the crank pulley and then a long bar holds the pulley whil another bar with socket breaks the bolt i just had to do it on my b18c since the stock crank pulley was rubbing my front cross bar if you can get ahold of that tool oh man that makes it sooooooooooo easy
where in ft worth are you located like what major roads are you near i can see if i can get that tool from a friend of mine let me know if you need help
you know where McCart and AltaMesa are I'm over there, that would really help because I tried to get it off today and it was quite the b!tch. Not to mention I really couldnt find a place to hold the pulley still at but I still got some other stuff done on it. Thanks that would help alot.

I have snapped 1/2 drive Snap-On stuff in half before..
Sometimes you need 3/4 drive with a big ol' cheater pipe
and a friend standing on the brakes..
Eat a cheeseburger and put your back into it...
(if you still can't get it holla at me this weekend..)
