i'm still not very good in launching my civic. NA B16B engine.
is it good for me shift to 1st gear, handbrake on. how high should i rev for it? range 3500rpm to 5000rpm?...
i'd try to rev only 3500rpm, but my rpm drops after that. mean that i loose my time there.

and burnsout also.........how high should i rev during my handbrakes on? ( during burnsout )

 

When launching a NA motor, you should rev high. Around 6-7k or more. Those motors dont make a lot of torque.
