battery dies like crazy
i dont think its my alternator goin bad, but ill leave my car like 5 hours and the battery will be completely dead. its a new battery like 2 weeks old. what the hell should i do, take off the cable for now when i go somewhere?
Mine used to do that. Somehow one of the cells in my battery had went bad. If you have an Advance Auto Parts or some place similar close by just take it there and they can test it for you. I believe they can test your alternator also.

Search... Since I'm nice here you go. First make sure all your grounds and connections are clean, it sounds like something is draining your battery even when the car is off, to test this put an ammeter in series with the battery, it should read 0, if not start pulling fuses and when it goes to 0, there is your problem.

this may sound dumb but, are you sure you didn't leave your dome lights or headlights on?
Could be a bad battery... is there a specific reason why it was just recently replaced?

my battery was dead as well today when I turned it on. What are those units called that you can check if the battery is being drained. Can I pick em up at Canadian Tire or Autozone?
I dunno if I left anything on or not

There called a multimeter, you might be able to get a cheap one at autozone.

do you have an aftermarket headunit? if so are you using an adapter to wire it to the stock setup? on my 00 civic ex i found that the stock cables had a voltage on one of the wires that wasnt being used (alarm to the radio). so i rewired the stereo power along with the amps and now everything works fine.
