I just got a 1987 civic that had the windows smashed i need to know how to get the door panel off over the window roller handle. I know i might be stupid but to my knowledge there is no screw in the middle of it to get it off.

If you push the door panel in a little bit around the crank, you should see a little clip under the crank. Use a small flat head screwdriver or bend a hook out of stiff wire and pull the clip out. Now the handle should pull right off.
