hello... i am bolting up my turbo as we speak, and i have a quick question about the Tial wastgates. mine came with a thick metal O ring that fits around inside the wastgate flange, and one side of the O rings' outside diameter is less than the other.... so my question is, which side should the smaller (outside diameter) side Should be facing? toward the manifold or toward the wastgate...

If anyone can hep me please do so!

 

also.... i am using a mannual boost controller and i was wondering if u keep the top hole (that is for an electronic boost controler) pluged, or open?

mount the o ring flush to the manifold, so put the o ring on the wg and it should be flush whith the lipped side up

 

I would think you leave it open but you may want to second that.
