how much is ur insurance?
just curious as to how much u NSX owners pay in insurance every month. i'm hoping to own an nsx one day but i want to get an idea of how bad insurance is going to rape me.
There are a ton of variables that figure into insurance and you'd be better suited to check with your agent to get a good idea. I've heard of kids paying $300+ a month for their NSX insurance. For me, it figures to $92 a month.

Couldn't agree more.
The fact that Ponyboy and I live in the midwest is a HUGE helping factor. Not to mention we are both 25-25+. Driving record. Primary vehicle. I could go on and on....

Full coverage? Liability only? How's ur driving record? Varies by insurance companies... and the list goes on and on...
The best way is to call up an insurance agent like American Family or All State and just tell them you want to buy an NSX and need insurance for it. Give them a few stats on urself, and they'll give u a nice quote.

Or, you can get a quote from one of the Internet-based services that uses many different companies for coverage, such as:
insure.com
Insweb

I pay about $3500 every six, also.
You do mean $3500 every six years, right? Because that's about what I'm paying. (It would actually be more like $5000 every six years, except that I save by turning off the collision and liability coverages during the winters when the car is in storage.)

Holy Frick Batman! 7K a year is outrageous.
Shawn, remembers paying $2400 a year for a '91 Tercel and thought that was outrageous too.

Well my hopes and dreams of getting an nsx for graduation have basically gone down the drainl. I went to allstate.com. Got the quik quote and it was ............................... $5032 every six for a 95 nsx-t. I never imagined it would be this frickin high. I have had a few speeding tickets and a misdemenor for dragging though. I guess I really screwed myself on this one. lol.
We have Metlife. Insurance on the X is about $1100 per year. That is with a clean record, multi car discount and being married. I am 26. Being with a company for a long time gets you more of a discount as well. We have been with them for about five years now.

It's not considered an exotic by the insurance company points ratings.
It is even with the Vette,Talon Tsi(AWD Turbo model) and Supra.

I just did a progressive quote for a 1991 Acura NSX, both saying that I own it and another that said that I own and make payments on it and with just liability no collision or comprehensive coverage I got $965 for 6 months or $1930 a year or $160.83 a month. And Im only 17
Get married, wait til you are 25, have a clean record, and buy it on a home equity loan raise up the deductables, and pay UNDER $70/month.
I only pay about $17/month when in storage.
