...

yes, it's not good to do that - motors werent made to run at 6k for very long, shift about 3k and save yourself some money and the life of your motor

i know, sort of a pointless post if you aren't going to listen to someone's advice... its your car and money, do what u want - i think people like you look stupid on the road thinking your honda is fast and redlining every gear... have fun

No I don't think it will blow if you keep doing that. But, you might run into problems with it driving it hard all the time. One thing is for sure though, you are not going to get to 200K miles beating on it everyday.

Depends on the motor, how well its balanced..
How well you take care of it.
and some times its just luck some motors run forever beating on them..some take care of their motor and it blows for no reason.. too many factors..

Driving the engine hard wears it out faster? SHOCKING!

well it shouldn't wear it out faster...

If properlly lubed the bearings hydrodynamically float on a bed of oil, and the metal parts should never interact.. thats the theory behind it all Except for start up....

if you really do redline it everywhere you go like you say your a dumbass. And if you ever get a turbo you'll probably realize by then, hopefully, that its pointless and if not you'll end up killing yourself because your car is so damn fast!!!
