Default Winter maintenance routine?

Does anyone have an annual winter maintenance routine they go through with thier race car?

Like every year, you flush the fluids, check bushings, check bolts are torqued, reapply driver door bar roll cage padding, or anything like that?

It sits on street tires during the off season and I try to start it up once a week or so and let it run until the thermostat opens. I replace whatever needs replacing, but other than that, it's pretty much ready to go.

Don't start it.
Disconnect the battery, full tank, 50 psi in tires. Be patient and wait 'til spring to fire it up. Spring $35 for a battery tender and your golden.

You can put a can of Sta-Bil (TM) in the gas tank if you are worried about that.

For a batter charger, I highly recommend the Battery Minder (TM). It has a feature that can de-sulphate a battery that has lost capacity due to improper cycling, and it really works.

The only other things I do at the beginning of the winter is replace the water coolant with anti-freeze and wash it.

In the spring I do a full tune-up and change all of the fluids (brake, motor, gearbox and diff oil) before I take it out for the first time.
