Default Figure this out! -- ????

Okay I am thinking too much, and I am confusing myself......I have a 92 CX Hatch. The stock tire size is 165/70-13. I am putting a 16" rota circuit 8 on and tirerack says that for a 16" rim a 205/40-16 is the right size.....BUT......I have a SiR2 (b16a) swap. So I was thinking.....okay, the VSS in that is for a 94 del sol (DOHC VTEC). The del sol stock tire size is 195/60-14. For the del sol, tirerack says that 205/45-16 is the correct size for the car.....

I am trying to figure out which is correct....I want my speed to be correct and my miles to count correctly. I THINK that the 205/45-16 is right......but I am confusing myself. Anyone know for sure???

Thanks,
Dustin

205/45R16 0.05 Inches taller than stock tire

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">SELECTED TIRE SIZE:205/45R16

DIAMETER: 23.3" SECTION WIDTH: 8.1" SIDEWALL HEIGHT: 3.6"
MINIMUM RIM WIDTH: 6.5" MAXIMUM RIM WIDTH: 7.5"
REVOLUTIONS PER MILE: 867

IF YOU TRAVELED 60 MPH WITH THIS TIRE INSTALLED ON YOUR VEHICLE
YOUR SPEEDOMETER WOULD READ 59.9 MPH </TD></TR></TABLE>

Do you think the tiny difference will cause that much trouble??? Will I be okay with a 40 instead of 45 until I burn through these tires......?????? Any suggestions?

man....everyone seems to use 45's on civic's and del sol's and no prob's whatsoever.....maybe even better cause you protect your rims better and get a smoother ride......i'd go for the 45's

but either way they'll be fine!!!!

isn't the stock speedometer off to begin with? as long as you can do some basic addition and subtraction, i wouldn't really stress it all that much.
