Which deck would you choose and why?

the one big difference there is going to be internal power or not....ask yourself if you need it? If so, then there's only one choice to make...if not, there are a few other differences worth looking at...

 

What are the other differences other than internal power. I'm still undecided if I wanna install my amps or just sell them.

 

Use your own amps! 9815!

 

THE 9815 is the choice head unit
It has better parametric EQ's
it has 6 channels of time correction (vs. 4 )
6 user set memory positions for both time correction and eq settings
it's a newer model that was an improved version of the 7995
(if the 7995 was perfect then why did they replace it with 9815)
either way I have a 9815 in my car now and it is incredible sound quality and the amount of control over sound is excellent, the x-overs in the unit are nice enought that I was able to get rid of the crossover chips in my amps and take the audio control crossover out
the display is also nicer (as far as the text display)

 

hands down the 9815 is a better unit.
It offers so much more.
But the unit I would have my eye on is the 7998.
costs more and some people do complain about the 1 1/2 din, but the specs on it are very nice.

 

for those that have the 9815. where did you buy it from. where can i find the best price. i've looked on ebay and they go for about 345 plus shipping. can i find it cheaper anywhere else.
