Default Whats your path on getting to the EXPO 4?

I have basically narrowed it down to a southern route,
95s
66sw
81s
40w
I am also hoping to meet up with some other people on the way...

So whats you traveling plans?

If the Expo does not get moved to a East coast location

where ever I need to go to meet up with the FL/NC todds! It would be cool for us all to cordinate a route to allow everyone to meet up for one route.

I-85 South (77.8 miles)
I-26 West (57.8 miles)
I-40 West (1830 miles)
I-17 South (123.9 miles)

~85 miles/hr = ~24 or 25 hours on the road (one way) plus stops.

This trip will be a walk in the park vs. the last time I was out there... ~36 hours non-stop.

crawl in Will / Kack's hooptie, mix up a 'cocktail' for the road...throw driver a couple bucks for gas money. Then, I will proceed to try and talk them out of sleeping in the car/tent again this year.

Dam thats a far drive Bbasso!!. I was thinking about driving, but the ride home would be unbearably long and boring. Props to you for wanting to drive to Arizona . Bring me back a cacti....and pics
I am really hoping it gets moved to the east coast, a lot more people would go...

This one would scare me out of a tent, for sure.

Actually, after living in AZ for 8 years, the scariest one that I ever ran into wasn't even pictured. Just think of a smaller, shiny black spider with a red spot on it's belly.
Imagine finding those in your tent.

The location of AMP though is in a fairly nice area. Decent hotels, restaurants, etc.

As far as the route I'm taking... yet to be decided, but I'd like to join up with a caravan that crosses Cleveland, Erie PA, or that area if there is one.

Let's have some "MTV Wild Boyz" attitude out there people! Make love with mother nature and share passion with our fellow earthlings.

Anyway, the likelyhood of me attending is very low due to my new job. Besides, I am inadaquate to drive in caravan due to my overly-active bladders I would have to dehydrate myself to a mummy to keep up with the 1800mi drive on I-40W

i have a small bladder and i'm always hungry, therefore, i've learned it's best for me to drive alone.

mapquest says the drive to az from nj is 2425 miles and 37 hours. i'm flying. there is no way i could handle driving 5000 miles + track miles and take off 4 days to drive + 2 days for track time.

You'll find the FL/ATL crew at any strip club along I40.

Sorry, Dave. My path will be drive to Hartsfield airport (ATL) -> fly into Vegas (NV)-> strip clubs -> rent a car to AZ. Fock driving 50+ total hours. I'd rather drink & party for 50+ hours. Hey, maybe I can win a jackpot in Vegas and buy an ITR and burn it at the track.
