dumped car=camber kit??? (already searched)
just wanted to know which camber kit is best for really dumped cars. My EJ1 is lowered to the last coil possible. and im getting mixed answers about what camber kit to use. some say Skunk, some say SPC, and some say Ingalls. I want to know which is better for my car?????

Get your toe adjusted. It will do more then the camber kit would. You're pretty low though so I would get ingalls. I had skunk and it squeaked a lot.
How many inches are you dropped? Ive heard good stuff about skunk2 kit. My g/f's 92 integra has the SPC kit and so does my friend's eg hatch. both of there cars are dropped 2-2.5" and the kit fixed the camber perfectly. That kit will work up to -3 degrees. I have the Ingalls kit on my prelude (which is a different suspension setup then the civ) and im dropped 2 1/4" and the ingalls did a beautiful job at fixin that.

why do you want to adjust the camber?if its because of tire wear,it's probably due more to out of adjustment toe.both my cars are about as low as yours, with no camber correction and they don't wear tires enevenly.take it to a good alignment shop.
also keep in mind that taking negative camber out of it will move the top of the tire closer to the fender lip, possibly causing rubbing problems.

i asked an alignment specialist and he said a non zero toe setting will eat your tires, and a non zero camber setting doesn't do ****. instead of spending money on a $200 camber kit, get a professional aligment and watch your tires not wear. the only reason to invest in a camber adjustment kit is if you have the need to run a specific degree of camber - not to save your tires.
when was the last time you had an alignment?

get an alignment and toe adjusted, i've driven on azenis dumped to the final coils on ground control on my ek, for about 8 months driving around boston and up and down to VA twice, and still my azenis had good tread...

right-you DO need a camber kit to get the camber back into factory spec after you lower the car any signifigant ammount.the mutli-link Honda suspension has no provisions for adjusting camber....but,that's not what wears the inside of tires out so fast.

yeah, i gotta admit the azenis are holding strong. even though the metal is showing on the inside, the tires are holding holding strong.

hm.. i had a prelude dropped 2.5.. adjusting the toe "helped" but didn't completely fix the uneven tire wearing. after i got my camber kit.. no more unevening wearing.. ingalls get's my vote.., adjusting the toe helps a lot though.

if you're wearing to the belts on the very inner part of the tire,it's definately a toe problem.really extreme negative camber(with correct toe settings)may cause slightly eneven wear, but it will be gradual from side to side, and hardly noticable.
i've seen cars with such bad toe-out settings that the tire is worn evenly across, except for about the last 1-2" on the inside, which were worn to the wires!

your **** is DUMPED henry...LOL
well, yeah, Toe would fix most of your wear problems but extreme negative camber will still wear out your tires. and if u really like it dumped like that, then dont put on a camber kit because itll give u rubbing problems. believe me.
as for suggestions about what kind of camber kits. i would get the SPC replacement arm instead of the skunk2.
