can you guys help me?
I just bought a integra type r b18c5 motor and tranny for 150. The reason so cheap was the guy had no clue what he had and the block was cracked everythign else is fine. I was wondering where i could find a block. I searched some places but i don't know to many places to look. I'd appreciate all the help thanks.

What?! $150. I'm sure that's legit...How in the hell do you have a motor like that, or any, in your possesion and casually have "no clue what you have".

Yeah, that sounds fishy. I could see it being cheap due to the cracked block, which ruins the motor. Where/how is it cracked? Like maybe someone dropped it while taking it out???

the head alone is worth much more than that; even with a cracked
block. u probably have a stolen engine...
a good working LSD tranny is about $900-1000 easy
What is the block stamped; what is the serial number?
You could use a DART block.

i'll doubt he'll post a vin, but i guarantee that's hot.. very very hot.. i suggest if you dont want to give it back since you paid for it.. atleast give the vin and info on the guy who sold it, you never know where he got it from. sad to say people do buy stuff if its a good deal, but its up to you to do the right thing.

Please post the VIN or justify your self..If you got a steal on it, congrats. But you have to understand we are very paranoid around here.
