k, i'm installing those hood pin locks (the round coke machine key type) that i got from JCW. don't wanna **** up my CF hood, what's the best way to drill so it doesn't spider or crack? certain type of bit? any way to dampen it?

 

start with a really small drill bit and just keep using bigger ones as you go...... that's what i did.... no issues with the carbon fiber

 

should we apoxy the hole afterwards to ward of any further cracking?

Nope. That is the only pic I have. I'll try to take more pics when this snow is gone.

It's a bit more complex then installing hood pins because you have to weld a little.

 

also to help you with the hood lock...
u may want to put some masking tape on the area you are going to drill.
that way you can also mark something for a point of reference
