Check out my EF...JDM MAdNeSS y0!!! PICS
Check it! I just got this done. It came assembled all together as a 1:28 scale (small as ****) model but I took it all apart, stripped it down the shell, stripped the paint, painted all the parts with detail and lowered it a little Tucking the ADVAN Model 7 15" wheels with ADVAN A032 Rubber. I'm actually just getting into models so there are some imperfections but hey, it's one of my first ones and its SOOO small. I'm doing a bigger Fujimi Type R Spoon Integra next and then another 1:28 scale of an EK. Any suggestions or comments are welcome.
Well, you won't believe this but have you ever seen those "modifiers" models at like walmart or K-mart? Well these are those models but the smaller one's. They come put all together but they come with a few after market parts to put on them your self like intake, exhaust, wheels/tires. But I took the whole thing apart and started over.
I'm actually building an 88 crx Hf right now and its kind of based on that. I couldnt believe I found this at walmart!! I found the EK there too!

To tell ya the truth I really don't know a good place to get models since I don't have much experience but I look on ebay often for them. I got the Fujumi Spoon Integra off ebay for like $20 but shipping took FOREVER because it was streight from Japan. That model is going to take some time. Over 100 pieces.
looks really good. my first scale model had so much glue on it, just plain sloppy. i use to have a honda collection until my little cousin saw it and thought they were toys and decided to crash them into each other. i just gave them to him after all the damage
it'll get easier over time. i used a syringe to glue mines to get minimal spillage. also, local hobby shops have putty that you could mold and do just about anything if you are creative. you could shave some parts, make new parts, conversions, whatever
damn, makes me want to get back into it

ebay is a good place to get more rarer and discontinued models. and also look up the local hobby shops, they should have some. runs from $10-40 per model.
no ****, I really didn't know they have putty. This perticular model actually was put together with tiny tiny small screws but I had to glue some parts also. This integra that I'm doing next is strictly glue and I actually have a neat glue dispencer that works pretty good. It has a very small needle tip so its not real sloppy.

yup, its like scale model bondo. since you have the small tip it should turn out really good. just let each section dry before moving it to minimize dripping and what not
make sure you post pics of the next projects

I just picked up the Fujimi JDM CRX Si race car from a local hobby shop here in IL for $17. It even comes with a bunch of little JDM (y0!) stickers (Option, Bride, Endless, GAB...).
