Default some help with premature rev limiter would be appreciated

thanks everyone for the help lastnight i rechecked all my wiring at the ecu, tried three seperate ecu's checked all wiring at the dizzy and all an still cant get the thing to rev past 3500, for the ones who didnt see previous post, converted 90 dx to mpfi and running 91 ecu and not able to get the engine to rev past 3500 also curious if timing being off would be enough to cause this?? maybe a tooth one way or the other on timing belt

Timing would not make that large of an effect. No CEL???? I would check the color of the wires plugged into your IAC valve. Sounds like they might be wrong, or not connected.

Does it just stop abruptly at 3500 or does it slowly get to that RPM and then just cant go any further?

make sure you swapped the 2 wires on the tps sensor, also make sure you got c1 & c2 not reversed.

Not your timing belt then, timing makes it struggle like a bitch. At least when its severely retarded....
