Im trying to figure out what i want to do to my teg. its a 97 2dr ls. I dont want to leave the body stock, but just about everything i like, everyone has. I like the jdm front end conversion, but a lot of people have it. I like the itr lip with lip kit, but then again a lot of people have that also, what are some other alternatives i can do other than body kits, thx

 

you have a 97, DO NOT get the 98+ conversion. Just get a 97 itr lip. not THAT many people have it, cause most people get the 98+ conversion. You could get the sir-G lip but that's starting to get a lot of play on h-t lately. you could always go custom

 

you drive a honda, so pretty much anything you do to your car... everyone has already done. twice.


just do what you think looks nice... i used to worry about being different or wahtever.... but just do what you think would look best to you to your car (as long as its not uber tacky..hehe) and go with it. you'll end up happier. dont not do something just because its "played"

i like the 94-97 front with the SiR-G lip, wingless, myself. i also like the 98+ 'ITR-style' look either wingless/itr wing/oem wing/huge mugen one

 

Forget ITR stuff, go with Si-R tegs stuff. Like the Si-R G front lip, Si-R G rear bumper and your cool.

 

where can i find si-r stuff?

 

most 'jdm' sites have SiR-G stuff.. also known as the Si-VTEC and the "jdm gsr" integra.

 

i'm sure the people that know about the japanese, rare, or original stuff is not going to be giving you there ideas. one thing you can do is find a japanese book store and get your style from there.

 

sell it and get something else...thats what you can do that 1234723-8947239 other people havent done...

 

I say, dont worry about the exterior, because chances are, its been done time and time again.
Worry about whats under your hood. Be the fastest one with that body kit that everyone else seems to have. Put your money into a motor swap, or a turbocharger, or both.
Just think about the look on that rich guy in the NSX when he sees the typical looking Integra smoke his ***. Now thats impressive.

If you're asking an appearance question on Honda-tech....most likely your car will look like the majority of the people on here. Yes, that's so original. Anything that's not stock on the exterior besides wheels will be admonished....be different. Do what you like.
