$800 good price for a ITR transmission?
I have a friend selling a ITR transmission for $800. He bought it new form Acura in 2002. Needs a 4th gear syncro. Has about 10,000 miles on it.
Should I buy or leave it??

A good condition ITR tranny runs for around $1500 so the one you are looking for including the labor and part needed to be fixed can net you some savings.

but how much was labor....considering many of us dont know much about tearing apart a tranny.
I got my 97 JDM ITR tranny for $1250 so if the labor + parts are less than $450 than go for it.

Where would that be? That's the best price I've seen new.

Good price, but I wonder about it's condition for that cost. Why would that synchro be bad w/so little miles? Makes you wonder...

If people are looking for a new transmission here's someone to contact:
Scott Crocket

I just bought a new transmission from him. He tells me that he's just raised the price slightly after mine, but that still puts them about $1650 I think.
