My cars power band is all messed up. It all happened after my engine bay got crammed with snow. Now I lose power after 5k and I get power lose between 4 and 5 g's. I allready let my car dry out and I changed my air filter but it sill runs like ****.

did you take the spark plug wires loose and make sure no moisture got into the wires especially down in the head(spark plugs) and dizzy just a thought.

 

no if there is what should I do?

 

it could be your distributer you might want to check that... just a thought....

 

And how do I check it? just take it apart or what? I know what it is but I dont know what to look for

how do you know you have a power loss? and in what way (what happens?)

 

My engine basically shuts off(NOT LITERALLY) but it just stops producing power
