Default need help in socal! please read...

so i barrowd this bike from my friend and told him in give it a tune up( which it badly needs) if he let me use it for a few weeks. he said sure. so i go to get a tune up and its 250+. damm. so i figured i can do the work my self but ive never done bike work. cars yes bikes no. so if anybody can guide me or even come down id really appreaciate it. ill buy you a 12 pack or sumthin. thanks

What kind of work... bikes are 1000 times easier than cars. Change the filter? Pull the tank if you have to. Change the plugs, same as previous. Adjust the valves in the same way as a car. The bike prolly has a timing chain, so you don't have to replace belts. Change fluids like a car (new oil/filter, drain radiator fluid, etc). Grease everything and lubricate all moving parts... thats pretty much it.
