I can't comment on sound, but with my magnaflow and a 22in magnaflow resonator its a very deep sound. I'd go magnaflow for the price difference and they are a quality piece.

They're both very similar designs, I'd say the difference in sound output would be negligible.

No, it will not sound like stock, I dont think it is possible to change your exhaust and have it sound like stock. I used to have an Apexi N1 cat back, and thanks to some road debris, I no longer have that exhaust, ended up getting the whole stock gsr setup (intake, ex man, cat, and exhaust) for a good price (if your wondering why I didnt get a diff. exhaust its because I'm taking it to the ref asap, so I am gonna go as stock as can be). The difference in sound is HUGE, but the difference in power is also pretty big My friend has the RS*R exhaust, and it is quiet, and sounds nice, but is still far from stock.

But as long as you get a big resonator (is it possible to get 2?) you should be ok, I would personally go with the magnaflow, its probably cheaper and easier to obtain.

I think they are both comparable. I personally like the Magnaflow better because you know it is quality stuff. WIth the custom setup you really don't know what kind of quality you are going to get. Plus the Magnaflow is probably going to be cheaper and is stainless, something you aren't going to get at a muffler shop. If you can find a vid with an es you can compare it to the vid of my magnaflow in my sig.

I have a Magnaflow Oval and it sounds very nice to me. It isn't excessively loud, yet deep and noticeable. I would definitely recommend it.
