Default EXPO 4: What are YOU waiting for?

It is getting down to crunch time. We need to send in a despoit for the track soon. With the commitment we have so far I don't want to commit that money to an event we are going to struggle to fill. I am frusteratred so little west coast folks have stepped up. That said based on the East coast attendance we have considered the idea of moving the event back to the east coast if we don't see more west coast participation. I need to know what I can do to help. Why are you guys not signing up? What would help get things wrolling out west?

Input is greatly needed.

common WC f00z, step up! If you can afford to do only one track even this year, THIS is the one.

yshi - who hopes it doesn't get moved

East Coast rocks all you bitches

With that said, I think if more west coast people don't get involved/pay, then we should move it. Only problem is what about reserving a track on the east side on such a short notice?

I voted Too Far Away.. Which is really only half my answer.. my full answer is still Too Far Away - If the west coast people aren't going to participate..

This is really disappointing that we're not getting a better turnout from out there.. Like Craig was asking, is it even feasible to get a track on this short of notice out here?

MAM!!!!! Woot!!

I voted too far away, but I also can't afford it since the R took all my money a few months ago.

Larkin who only can afford Auto-x this year unless I find a better job

Basically, I can't afford to take enough time off of work to make it out that far. Plus I will be making a career change soon, so I need to watch how I spend my money.

Very disappointing to see the lack of West coast participation -- especially after seeing all the bitching & whining last year from so many of them

Sucks, I broke my "race car" so I might have to bring the other one.
Closer would be nicer.

I'm paying on the 15th, the first time I can....

I'm not suprised about the lack of participation unfortunately..... all that bitching and complaining was just that - bitching for attention, with no intention of showing up when it came down to it. No different than complaining about location, then when Trey indicated someone would need to help organize, everyone shut up. Everyone wants all the work done for them, and they want infinite input/control, but no responsibility. Sad.

However... I know tthis doesn't apply to peeples like yoshi and a good number of west coasters, so please dont think i'm pointing the finger at everyone.

Funny people are saying its too far, but so many people (myself included) are driving ~2000 miles from the East Coast.

I wish I could make the trip out west Trey but with a Vacation a month before and another one a month after the Expo my $$$ is soo stretched I can't make it out there.
I would definately reconsider if the Expo was closer to home though. I think that would cut the cost greatly I.E. Days taken off from work, gas, tolls, food and drink etc. etc.

Opie

**EDIT** I definately will come if the Expo comes to the East coast.

It's not really about the distance for me. If I could afford to take the time off of work, I wouldn't hesitate to drive out to AZ. I've always wanted to take a cross country road trip. Just can't afford to take a vacation right now with the career change. Plus, I need to put a fresh suspension on soon as well, so I've got to keep money aside for that.

It's just not financially feasible for me this year.

I'm thinking Trey wouldn't have said we are considering moving it back to the East coast if he didn't have a track or two lined up for some participation.

Hmmmmm......

Seriously - I might not even be able to make it cause it's so far away. If the West Coast Trailer Queens aren't coming, why bother?

Since I'm a bum now I can afford to say I'll be there but in all reality I might not be able to at the last minuet because I have to get a job.
But anyway I am VERY MUCH looking forward to driving to AZ for the EXPO and to see the country!

EXPO or BUST!!!
2500 + miles each way!!!!!!! No problem!
who knows maybe I'll stay on the west coast for a while after ...

Trey, to make this more realistic, what are the track options available for reservation this late? If there's only one rinky-dink junky track still open, I'd rather make the drive, 36 hours on the road or not. However, if we can get something quality like BeaveRun again, I'm all for saving a few hundred bucks worth of gas.
