how do u tell if itz an OBDI or OBDII ??

 

i got the ecu from my friend.. and he doesnt remember... so how do i tell?? thanx in advanced

 

the plugs are different...you cant plug a OBDII ecu into a 94-95 gsr and vice-versa you cant plug a OBDI ecu into a 96-up gsr...unless you have a wire harness adapter.

 

is there a serial number or some kind of number on the side???
