yea i have a vtec 4th gen lude and the problem that i am having rite now is the car starts overheatin at long idle like at a stoplight and drive thru then when i get moving the car starts to cool back down but then its starts to bog when the car overheats what is it and how do i fix it?
Check the coolant level or radiator for leaks, make sure your fans are working, then do a leak down test to see if you have a blown head gasket
how would you find out if you have a blown head gasket because wouldnt there be a lot of white smokke coming out of my tail ppipe

worry about that last. like posted above, check your radiator fluid first. Then check if your fans are workin. Also could be the thermostat which i have had problems with b4.

i had that problem w/ my h22 a while ago, seemed to always happen friday nights, would over heat at idle...but its gone now, i just always make sure theres plenty of coolant, also, u could try turning on ur a/c when at idle which will force both fans on to keep cool air comin in, if u turn on ur a/c and only one/no fans turn on then that could be a problem as well...
coolant leval and fan, check them...
once your car gets hot, pop the hood, if the fan is running, thats not the problem, if it isn't running, then that IS the problem..

I think it is either he is low on coolant/water or has a bad thermostat. My radiator fans were not hooked up and I have NEVER had an issue with over heating when everything else was working.
Check the coolant level. If the coolant level is fine, I would change the thermostat. It can't hurt to change the thermostat anyway.
