Well i think i got ripped cause i paid for a ecu from a 88 teg, and i thought that was a pm7 well, i looked on the casing and it says 88/2/15 which is year and date, but then it says PM6, i think i got ripped. So can anyone help with my question.

pm6 is Si. p-G-7 is integra. PM7 is HF i believe.

ECU casing is very different on PG7, although the internals can be swapped into PM6 casing perfectly. serial code is attached to the board not the casing in case there may be any confusion.

Are you sure ? I tried putting a PG7 into a PM6 case and it wouldn't fit... the PG7 and PM6 case are not only different (PG7 has 3 mounting legs on it instead of 4),but the circuit board of the PG7 is physically bigger than the PM6/PM7 making it impossible to swap out...I've heard of it being done,and if anyones been ballsy enough to take a Dremel to their circuit board and ghetto rig it in there,then I'd like to see it You can swap the internals of a PM6 to a PM7 case and vica versa though.

the 88-89 PG7 and 88-91 PM6 and 88-91 PM8 (HF) all share the same case. PM5, PM9, and the 86-87 PG7 have different cases and board sizes and will not fit into the PM6 case.

Hmm...I wonder why the two 88-89 pg7 teg ecus I pulled out of the junkyard have the three leg mounting points and all the pm6, pm5 ecus I've seen have four legs...maybe because they're different?

the case is differnt dumbass. the board is the same size and has the same mounting points.

PM6 = PG7 = PM8

by the same, i meant that they will all interchange cases.

sorry, i was wrong, PM-EIGHT is the HF ecu. i just remember it was greater than Six.

PG7 fits fine in PM6 casing, ive done it fine. casings are very different in dimensions however.

86-87 PG7 internals wont fit into a PM6 case,but 88-89 internals will from what I just learned.I had a 86-87 and couldn't fit it into the PM6 case.
