not reving

Default not reving

i jstu swapped my 90 dx to mpfi and got all the wirign right i though, engine runs fine exept that when its running it wont rev past 3500 ?? throwign code 4 which is the crank angle sensor, would timing affect this?? distributor is genuine honda parts 2 weeks old any ideas??

check the wiring on the dizzy. Maybe you swaped wires by mistake?

if you are still running the dx ecu thats the problem, switch to a pm6 ecu and it should fix it

currently running with a pm6 and tried anther and both of them doing the same thing

same thing happened to me, their are 2 wires that you cut for the Cyl. Position sensor (the one in the dizzy, not the crank angle sensor) they need to be hooked back up into B10 and B12, that will cure your problem
edit: the light colored one goes to B10, cant remember the exact color

i am unable to check the wires jsut yet cause i am at work, talking about the wires in the large clip on the dist. or at the ecu clip itself?

on the ecu's center plug, the B plug, pins 10 and 12

edit, the white wire goes to B12 and the Orange to B10

hey man thanks i appreciate that, ill certainly look at all my wiring when i get home i should be off here bout another 10 minutes and ill recheck that stuff, ill keep ya informed
