Where to get replacement rear rotor cheap? (autozone?)
I searched the archives and found nothing saying the actual part number for the rear rotor for the 2001 ITR. At Autozone I got this when I searched:
AIMCO HUB/ROTOR ASSEMBLY 31252 3 MO $48.99
Is this what I need? The whole assembly? So for both rears I need two of these? This seems kind of stupid.

Agreed - Cobalt.
I went through all this recently.
NAPA one's are OEM and $60.
Autozone did not have them two months ago, and they were trying to say a Prelude rotor would fit - it wont. Autozone does have TL rotor that fits, but the hat is larger in diameter than stock by 1/2". Not sure if this would mess with the ABS sensing or not, and they are $55 or something and only 3 mo warranty.
Those BAP rotors for $16 sound good, but that was exactly what I found at NAPA, and it turned out to be a Prelude rotor and not the right size.
Just get Cobalt for $40 ea shipped, and get a nice grind, good rotor. Not worth wasting time unless you can confirm the BAP one's for $16. That would be hot! Take your old rotor and compare side-by-side.
Also, just buy the 'mini Borg cube' piston retractor tool from Performance Tool for $10 at Autozone, and save a whole lot of time, hassle, and possible damage to your pistons and seals.
If your rotors are worn that much, the spatula/screwdriver/needle nose pliers/etc piston retraction tricks wont work. The piston will be out so far, it will be very hard to turn in without the cube tool. Not to mention you really risk damaging the pistons and seals, and it will be a huge PITA getting other tools in there. Worth the $10, and you wont have to take the calipers off and risk damaging your ABS sensor wires. Plus, if you nick the outer edge of the pistons, the seals will be damaged later, during use, and you will have to rebuild your calipers.

Chris, are you sure you even need rear rotors?
I ask because so much of the heavy braking is done at the front of the car, that rear rotors rarely need replacement. Even with all my tracking (100+ events), and all the front rotors I've gone through (maybe 15 or so sets), I have never needed to replace a set of rear rotors. Not from cracking, not from thickness, not from warping - never.
Just thought I'd ask what seems like an obvious question, not trying to flame or anything...
P.S. The stock rear rotors might be another option. They list for $110. They're $85 from Acura Carland and probably even less than that from len at Baranco or from A&H...

Just a slite update to this and I appoligize in addvance if this has been covered (i did search and this seemed the best thread to post this info too) The RSX, Accord V6 and ITR all share the same rear rotors according to the brmbo off brand rotors I ordered from Import Replacement parts ($30 per side). Like I said not sure if this was known knowledge or not, not sure if it really helps but its a couple of other options to ask about when going to the local national chain as a V6 accord is much more common than an ITR.
