idle and driving problems after swap in EK, help need asap.

To add to it, my friend said today that the problem doesnt arise until after the car has been driving for awhile. When he pushes the clutch in to come to a stop, the rpms go down to 700 like normal, than shoot up to 2k, and than back down to 1300 and starts surging between there and 1500.
