Lately my car is taking forever to warm up. Yes i realize it is winter here but it seems I can drive hours and i will still be below C for the temp. Could my antifreeze/water ratio be off...someone told me that could affect it. Also once I know that the car is warm (hot air is comming from the vents), I try to engage the VTEC, but it will not engage (temp needle still below the C). Then after I do that the needle will rise up and then the next time I give the car hell VTEC will engage.......Anyone know what is going on??? Bad Temp. sensor? Coolent mixture wrong???

sounds like you have a bad thermostat

 

I guess I will get a new thermostat....anyone else have an idea.

 

i would assume thermostat too. maybe its not opening when it's supposed to.
