Tranny Question?

Tranny Question?

Do u have to pull apart the whole exhaust system to get the tranny out. In the haynes manual it asks u to do that but i think there is more then enough clearance to leave this alone.

I've taken my tranny out plenty of times without taking out my exhaust.

I have never had to drop the exhaust to take the tranny off before.

The only thing I can think of is that the header is in the way when you try to pull off the metal inspection plate.

cant think of why you would neeed to pull the exhaust. hrmmmm!
