there's nothing stupid about it, it's called having fun.
and telling him to learn how to drive? i'm sure he'll run circles around you at any track.

i never said learn to drive, i said learn to downshift. did you not watch the video. you're telling me that's how to correctly downshift, i don't think so.

i'm sure he'll smoke me on the track too, considering my car is stock. doesn't take much to mash the peddle with that much hp and smoke people on the straights.

 

downshifting is part of driving, who cares how he down shifts, i'm sure his clutch set-up is alot different then yours, and i'm sure he doesn't want to downshift like you're able to. everything changes when you goto the darkside , he can't do **** the same as if he was in a stock ITR.

and yes it does "take much" for an ITR to smoke CTR turbo porsches and race prepped ferraries on the straights

i think he meant he needs to revmatch when downshifting. it looks like hes letting the synchros do all the work.

agreed

 

if he is downshifting wrong, than how should he correct it?!!? thats a better way of going about critiqueing(sp) his driving

 

people have thier own styles of driving, leave it alone. it might be a little harder on the synchros then perfectly revmatching, but what's it to anyone else? it's his style

are you referring to his downshifting on the street? if so, it's pretty hard to revmatch properly unless you are under hard braking...ie track duty.
