Default OT: The new year welcomes the replacement of ITR 98-1075 ...

As some of you might already know, Dan (b20bastard) purchased my ITR back in December of 2003. Here's his post about it -> https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=703459. Since then, I've been searching for a worthy replacement of the R. And I couldn't think of any other car that would give me the same type of excitement as my old car than the F20C1 9K redline S2K! So, this weekend, I travelled from Phoenix to LA to pick up my new ride. It's a 2001 Silverstone S2K with Red/Black Interior + OEM Hardtop and 26K miles

Thought I share some pics with you guys ...

Here's a pic of ITR #98-1075 :

Here are some pics of the new ride :

Add ".orig.jpg" for original size pictures. Enjoy!

Thanks for the compliments! Yeah, I like the car a lot but I'll always have "R Fever". Who knows, maybe I’ll try to get another 98 ITR in a few years. I’ve had so much fun in that car. On the track, it was so easy to drive fast and the car was stock for the 2 years that I owned it!

But in the end, I wanted to try something different ... something RWD. Don't worry, I'll be testing the limits of the S on the track! No mod plans for the S yet but I will be changing out the brake fluid to Motul 600, slapping on some Carbotech Panther Plus pads and maybe mounting a new set of track rims/rubber before I track it.

As for the hardtop, I definitely got a deal on that when it came with the car. It'll help the wear and tear on the soft top in the 110+ degree PHX summer.

In any case, I hope to have more pics of the car after I give it some Zaino!

GRRR.

Damn, even I'm freakin' jealous everyone else is getting S2000's on the board. Mine is still in the ******* shop.

Don't worry though, I'll get my S2000 tomorrow!

Beautiful silverstone bro, I'm diggin the hardtop! Too bad I can't afford one right now!

BTW, here's a cheap set of new rims if ya want them: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=723796
