Im going to rebuild the motor/tranny in my 93 ex, 5 speed, i found a pretty good rebuild kit im gonna use, along with stock honda gaskets, im gonna do some type of after market cam, port the head, with 3 angle valve job, maybe bigger valves? and im going to do a stage 2 clutch, lightned flywheel, and phantom. What intake manifold is best for turbo z6, or y8? Whats the best Tb to use, im going to throw on my Ihi turbo, and do some sort of fmic, whats a good junkyard ic to use, i have spare bov, intake piping, downpipes and such i can use, i also heard a station is a good junkyard down pipe. im trying to do this as cheap as i can, but i want to build a healthy motor, what are some tips?

A lot of people consider the Y8 manifold better than the Z6. While you're rebuilding the motor, throw in a set of LS rods instead of going with bigger valves.

Nothing. With what you have to spend to make them fit, you could get some nice aftermarket rods. I run a turbo y7 and ran a 13.8 @ 10 psi. This is a Greddy Td04h-15g kit with a bunch of extras (Type 24 fmic, TiAL bov, E-Manage tuned by me, etc...)

 

What do u think my combo will run in my ex? Alot of people over look the ihi turbo, i have one on my turbo 2.3 mustang, and it makes 18 pounds of boost on that great, and thats a bigger motor, should spool up really nice on a smaller 1.6
