Default Jim fabb for civic vtec

Hoi,

I am new here and i live in europa the netherlands and i have a 91 civic with the b16a vtec engine in it from the factory. I think you guys call it the civic Sir. So it is NOT a normal civic with a b16 swapped in it but an original civic vtec.

I have used the search button but i couldnīt find a good answer for my question.

Does the jim fabb cross member fit my civic ?? Because the civic vtec was never sold in america and the original cross member of the dx and civic vtec are a little different i thought.

And further after you installed the jim fabb how do you tune it ?? I read something about preloading and so on and i also read about some one who had one from z10 but didnīt know how to tune it so it didnīt work. All the info is welcome.

My fastest 60 ft time is 2,281 on street tyres, can i get that to 1,9 with the jim fab on street tyres ??

w00t you spelled it "tyres" thats awesome, and so EDM

Well to answer your question, it should fit without a problem. All the actual chassis I believe are the same.

if yours is like the JDM EF9, which it should be, it won't work. i think, true B16A EF/EEs use a front crossmember similar to 90-93 integras. and if thats true, only Place Racing makes front crossmember (not adjustable). no Z10 or JimFab.

Thanks guys for the input yeah the edm civic vtec is the same as the jdm ef9 so that's a bitch as the jimfab doesn't fit.
But i sent jimfab e mail so i wait his answer.
But i spent several hours reading about traction bars and jimfab and z10 and at first i thought that i would knock off like .3 from my 60ft time but the more i read the more i saw elimenate wheel hop. But i don't have wheel hop will it still be worth too buy the bars ???

p.s. what 's wrong with the word 'tyres' ( lol )

Yeah its me thats looking into gettin the x-members made.

One thing I could do with learning about is whats adjustable & whats good to have & whats not so good as far as whats adjustable.

The ppl I'm looking into getting to make them build track racing cars so i need to give them the specs for this as preload is more for 1/4's?

I will also be trying to get them to make some adjustable top arms for camber adjustment as the ones made for US cars dont fit
