new pistons. overbore 81.5mm or normal 81.0mm

I want to put new pistons in my ITR B18c6.
Im gonna put wiseco 11.8:1 Ib spec pistons in but i dont know what to do.
The engine has 50.000miles on it and the block is stock. Its very healthy and is not using oil.
should i take a overbore 81.5mm and bore the block for this piston, or just leave it and put a 81mm piston in with new rings?

WHy are you even thinking about doing this?
If compression is good and it sounds like it runs fine.....why do anything?
If you're looking for more power, then go with some higher compression pistons, the CTR's or the IB spec ones. Don't go back with the stock ITR ones unless you have to use them per some racing rules.

I ment putting the 81mm 11.8:1 wiseco pistons with new rings, but without boring or honing. Or boring the block to 81,5 and put the 81,5mm 11.8:1 wiseco with new rings in.
Is 50.000miles to much to leave the block and just put pistons in?
I want the higher compression for the toda B cams. In holland we got 98 octane gas so higher compression will give me more power!

If it's running fine and not burning oil, spend you money on a good header and exhaust or something ...

Best thing to do is have your machinist inspect the bore and hone it if it's o.k. If you want more power, and the engine is coming apart for sure, why not go 81.5mm? You will pick up a little more displacement and slightly more compression.
If you want to go conservative, 50,000 miles is not that much, and if the motor is not burning oil, chances are the bore is o.k.

Absolutely NOT!

You don't want CTR pistons with high boost. Compression is a tad high. Forged pistons would be the way to go-many companies have good off-the-shelf pistons for FI.

I already got a header, exhaust, intake etc.
Only the block is stock, the rest is not.
I'm doing 217,5 engine HP right now, so the cams and pistons will be a nice step forward.
I only want to lift the head and leave the rest in the car. Thats a lot easyer for me right now and cheaper to!
In Holland there are'nt that many machinists that can handle a Honda block. The chance of something going wrong with the bore is to high.
Sounds strange, but it has happend to often for me.....
