Default Turbo Bang Bus

This is our parts truck that on friday got bored with and put some **** laying around the shop to use.
We joke around call it the Bang Bus. Its a 84 VW vanogan
Anyways, we used a 300z turbo(t-25) 1g DSM bov and made all the rest.

We got all the turbo stuff done today, next week we are going to put a FMU and maybe an AFC on it for ***** and giggles. Maybe see what happens on the dyno
Excuse the crude O2 sensor housing, i was lazy and didnt feel like building a flanges for this thing and cut up the stock stuff and welded on it. Pretty quick little project so didnt spend to much time on detail ****. Just slapped it together.
The exhuast dumps straight out the rear of the car and is maybe 8 inches long. The pic of it didn't turn out, so ill try to take another one
Let me know what you guys think

I wanted to do something similar a while ago, glad I can live my dream vicariously through you.

Post some pics of the bus's exterior and interior.

haha, those lines go to the boost gauge we use on customers cars when they dont have one.
We just hooked it up to make sure we didnt boost on it without a fuel system.
I'll post some more pics of it when I get a chance

My shop is finishing up on an old VW transporter which has had a Porsche engine swapped. Includes Porsche gauge cluster, steering wheel, rims, brakes + callipers, and tiptronic gears. I'll try to take pics once its out of the paint shop

That is pretty bad ***. I love it when people do stuff like this. I used to know some guys that would try to put a turbo on anything. The thing is they never got any of their projects done all the way.

haha, right on man.. I tried talking my brother into a homemadeturbo setup for his vanagon.. but his heads started leaking coolant, guess its a common problem on those, so instead of fixing it or getting another engine, we are going to put a WRX STI engine in, lol.

Sti Front clip sitting in the garage!

on your setup man!

Jeff
