AEM Intake Installation
Does anyone know where i can get detailed instructions and pictures of an AEM CAI installation? The guide that came with it contains no pictures!

Its easy, pretty much self explanitory with common mechanical knowledge... Take the old intake and resonator off and put the new one in its place.. Shouldn't take more than an hour even if you have lots of trouble..
Jordan, I found AEM Cold Air Intake installation instructions with pictures. The website is lightningmotorsports.com, the only thing is that it is for 97-00 Preludes. I dont know if it will help, probably not. Call stupid AEM and complain about the shitty instructions, Ive seen numerous posts about crappy AEM intake instructions that lack pictures/photos . Good Luck
I probably should post that website for future reference, peace! P.S. You have to go to the tech section and under Honda.

just a little FYI, my friend did an AEM CAI in his 95 lude....they had to cut out the entrance into the firewall because it was too small. any of you guys experience this before or did the shop just cut it for nothing?
Ok, I know how to install the cai. my questions are now about removing the old one... Firstly, there is that old intake I remove. This is a black tube with a rectangular piece on the bottom, right? Then after that where is the actual resonater located? Is it inside the old intake? And after I remove the old itnake and resonartor is there anything else to remove, or should I just go on to install the CAI?

sorry to flame u but u must have no common sense watsoever to not know how to install intake. its gotta be one of the most easiest bolt ons. the resonator is that big white container looking thing. well don't know the color it is on the ludes but its right there with it and yea take it out. pretty straightforward dood
hey...ya wanna know what....I took everything out of my car when I put in my intake...that big plastic box the big tube that comes down and the reso....I just plugged the little tube up. it's some kinda vacuum line that just creaes pressure for that lil butterfly thing by the box...the car runs fine without it... take it all out you won't have any problems with it...I don't and I race it every thursday at the track...putting the intak in all ya gotta do is just take off the fender well a lil plastic piece with four screws in it...good luck
no i am not talking about the stock airbox...to be honest i had sum trouble finding those "hidden screws" too. it should be located to the left side of the resonator...kinda hard to see u need to get under the car to get it. keep on lookin budee.
