have a 91 DX hatch, and want to get the passenger side mirror... The guy at my local junkyard told me that i HAD to have one specifically for the hatch that the ones on all other's from that year are different. I find this very difficult to believe, especially since he is telling me he could order me one for 125 bucks. I don't need a mirror all that badly, but anyway, Honda dealership told me they are discon, so I am at a loss other than maybe searching the web. But my main question is it different for the different civic models, or is this guy full of it...
Cliff: tried searching, couldn't find out anything, wanna know if 91 hatch mirror is different than say, coupe or sedan. Thanks.

Sedan mirrors are different from hatchback mirrors. Not sure if CRX mirrors are the same or not.

Get a mirror off of a 90-93 Integra,they fit.I have one in my EF...you'll have to use slightly longer screws and cut a little of your interior sail panel,but its not a big deal.I added mine for $15.If you need want some pics I can take some to show you.Good luck!

 

Mine on my dx came from an accord wagon, not sure if it was 90-93 or the previous generation.

 

i have an 88 CRX HF passenger mirror on my 91 DX hatch.

unless you specifically look to see, you cant tell its not factory.
