i bought an OBX shortshifter for my 2000 gsr and it came with no instructions, how do i install this thing?

A short shifter is one of those things that you can easily figure out how to do.

 

yeah, just get under the car, and you'll just SEE how to do it...

-ryan

 

-remove center console and shift ****
-raise car
-remove shift linkage bolts and bolts that hold the shifter assembly to the body
-remove shifter assembly
-unbolt the stock shifter from assbely (one bolt holds it in place)
-grease up the ball on the short shifter using OEM grease or equivalent
-work backwards on the above steps

pretty easy...any1 can do it.

Buy a Helms manual. Its the best thing i could have ever bought for my car, saved mucho $$$$$ on labor too!

 

pick up the new IMPORT TUNER they installed a dc sports shifter in a 6th gen hatch i think anyway it's the same thing
