FS:1989 Civic DX JDM B16A Swap in Omaha, Nebraska
Thats Right.. Its for sale. I am moving on already onto other things in my life. I had some realization going on and realize I don't want to build this car anymore and want to other things with my life now. There is nothing wrong with this car. Actually its running better now than anyday I have ever Owned it. I can guarantee I am not selling this car because something is wrong with it.
Many people have ridden in this car and seen the swap. The car runs like a dream and is pretty damn quick. It uses Zero Oil and I change it every 1500.
The Car
1989 Honda Hatchback DX.
The motor
JDM B16A1 (170bhp) with Complete Swap including ECU, New Axels (ones that came with swap were bad) and tranny. I would have to say there is about 40,000 miles on the Motor.
Now when I picked up the car from the previous owner who hardly drove it around when it got done the car had a Redline @7k. It had a Auto ECU in the car and now it redlines at 8300 with the New 5 Spd ECU. By having the Redline that was at 7 that means this motor hasn't even been beatin on yet.
The Upgrades.
Centerforce Clutch (Less than 2K on Clutch)
Ractive CAI
Ractive Rear Exhaust section mated with 2.5 Catback system
Ceramic Dc Header 4-2-1
Accel Wires
New NGK Plugs
Skunk 2 Intake manifold (not installed yet but will come with it)
MaxSpeed Coilovers paired with Tokico Blue Shocks
And the Underhood is the cleanest part on this whole car. I took pride in the engine in this car so under the hood is spotless
Place Racing Urethane Motor Mounts
The Interior
Brand Spanken New Civic Si Seats (front and Rear). I mean they are brand new.. Not one Rip or Tear on them. They look as good as they did the day they rolled off the Assembly line.
Brand new Carpet also in the Car (Just ordered new Factory insertf or Carpet)
Eclipse 3413 CD player (Like 1 month Old)
Eclipse 6 1/2 Door Speakers
A/F, Oil Pressure, Autometer Guages
Triple Pillar Pod (top Hole is empty Right now)
New Si Interior Pieces (Dash and Door Panels)
GSR Center Console.
Exterior
The Body is kinda Rough. But she is Old. It has the usual cancer Spots around the Rear Fenderwell and Some Dings and Dents on it. I don't pride myself in how she looks I have pride in the way she runs.
Car is missing side Moldings right now. I have been to lazy to order them but they are readily available at Any Honda Dealership. If need be let me know and I can order them for callt he parts person from honda I know.
Has Window Tint but gonna be pulled off. (Thanks State Trooper)
Amber JDM Corners
All Bulbs have been Replaced with Hyper White Bulbs. (ex: Turn Signals, Brakes, And Headlights
Car is running on the Factory Steelies (13") right now with some Brand new Hankook 155/80/R13 Tires. Less than like 5000 miles on it.
Like I said I don't really want to sell it, especially now that it runs so Damn Good. I just changed the Oil on 01/02/04. The car should run a Hi 14 right now the way it sits. I don't drive it in the Rain nor when it snows. It sits garaged in my house and is not used as a Daily Driver just a Fun car.
But I don't beat on my Cars and I take very good Care of them. Its just time to do some other things with my Life besides spend all my nights working on this car.
