Auto to Manual Transmission Swap
So I'm out at the junkyard that I bought my Civic from today, and a 95 Accord with a 5 speed had just been brought in a few weeks ago. My dads friend owns the yard, and he said he'd sell me everything I needed for an auto to manual swap for $250, including the engine and wiring harness. The engine is blown, but I'm going to pull it apart and rebuild it before it goes in. I can probably get the ECU for another $100 or so.
Since I'll be using the harness from the manual car, I'm assuming I should have no wiring problems with the tranny. Is there anything anyone can think of that I should watch out for?
(Engine is an F22B2 by the way)

sounds like a good deal. just make sure to use the accord 5spd tranny mount and bracket. don't cut corners and use the auto tranny rear mount and have a improperly aligned setup.
Yeah, I read on Accordingly done to get the mount that needs to be welded to the frame from the dealer. I already know the guy there pretty well cause of all the damn parts I need to fix my Civic, so he cuts me a break on part prices. Anything else I might need from the dealer?
nice. I wish I had a family friend with a junkyard.
Nothing like a cheap-cheap swap...
edit: you can probably sell your used auto tranny for about that much! (uh, in working shape)

The auto tranny is far from being in working shape. Real race cars need to be pushed to go backwards...

I think the extreme redline link and the faq in accordingly done need to be revised/updated. I thought on 5th gens the auto and manual mounts are the same. Also I thought the clutch pedal bracket can be bolted on if you use a spacer. And the wiring part still confuses me. Can anybody help clear some things up in that tech article because there has been lots of confusion from different boards about some steps.

From what I've read you need the manual transmission mount from the same year car. You can get it at a dealership for around $15-25 from what I've seen. The only thing is it needs to be welded in.
