Default Wiring Headunit (quick color help)

Im wiring a Blaupunkt cd50 deck into my crx. When I bought my first crx it was already installed so I just wrote down all the wires that came from the car and it connected to on the deck. Now I wired all the RF/RR/LF/LR and there are still the 3 wires for power and what not to be run.

I can match 2 of those 3 up but one doesnt match. Theres a BLACK wire coming off my deck and on my old Crx was connected to a WHITE wire. But the new car has no WHITE wire....

I dont get it? What is the black wire from my deck for and what colour would it wire up to?

Could it be the ground??? I thought some wires were universal colors...for instance
red-power
yellow-acc power
black-ground
blue-amp

ya well I dont feel like ******* around and Ill just make a new ground since I think the black wire is the ground.... I just found a battery/alternator testor and I cut off the piece that your supposed to use as a ground.

Thats what it looks like and it has a wire solderred into the end of it with a 24" piece of thin wire. Im just gonna use this as a ground and clip this thing to ANYTHING?? metal under my dash?

Im really no good with grounds so I dont know where to clip it. Glad I found this thing so itll be a little easier

Your ground needs to be screwed down securely. You just can't clip it to something metal...

yeah man, just loosen a screw and ground it by tightening the screw on it at the very least.

i wouldn't do it like that, but i'm very particular about how i wire things. it would work though.... and it wouldn't rattle/vibrate free....
