is there anyway to check if i have spark or not? if i do, then atleast i know that im not flooding the engine... if i dont have spark, then damn... half my cylinders are filled with gas :-/
im not an expert mechanic but i think if you pull out each plug wire off of the plug at a time and hold it to maybe another bolt on ur valve cover and have someone else crank it, if your ignition works then you shuld see the sparks, just dont hold with your hand use some pliers or something, and if you want to see if your getting fuel you could take off the fuel rail and see if it has gas in it, but first take off your intake and have a freind crank the car while you spray in some wd 40 if it starts then cool but wd 40 will start it. hope that helped
What computer are you using 14-8 or 14-9 if not sure look for the blue wire with yellow strip that is a 14-8. I over heard that this is a prob on the 14-8 comp it has to have 14 volts.

ill try that plug thing, but how would spraying wd40 in the intake start the car..?

WD40 is not what you want it make things spin easier thats all. plus this is dangerous to do. you can get backfires. i told you which ecu do you have 14-8 or 14-9

yea to check for spark take a spark plug and put it next to something like your valve cover and it should spark, you sure its not the starter? is it clicking when you try and start it?
yea i heard that too about the 14-8. i was lucky . if your line was bad you would smell it if your plug is wet then you have fuel its that easy if you have no spark look into the ecu that 2quik4rwd was talking about.
the 14-8 was the first style ecu that had a conducting problem with a int regulator that would not hold 14 volts to the ign module in the distributor. the 14-9 is the newer version.
if i were to take off the fuel rail, what would i be looking at to see if fuel is going through? what's the procedure for this? thanks for the help
im still not sure if it's the fuel or there's no spark, im waiting for my dad to get home so he can help me check the spark.. if there is spark, then i hafta do the fuel rail thing

can anyone show me a diagram of where the fuel lines run, from the fuel pump, into the injectors, the full process they go through? id greatly appreciate it, i want to take off one hose and try starting the car.. see if anything comes out... the fuel pump IS turning on, but maybe it's broken and not pumping fuel anymore?
update:
on me, i forgot i had a fuel pressure gauge lol anyway, i have 45 psi of fuel, what the ****... i have fuel pressure in the lines.. i have spark... WHY DOESN'T **** GO BOOM?!

If it's not turning over, the distributor rotor is a common failure.
Most common failures for Hondas that do not start are the distributor rotor, bad ignitor, and battery. Usually when you do maintenance on it, you change the distributor cap and rotor.
Again, how many miles are on your motor?
