Default can someone tell me if this is broken?

hey, im putting a b16a obd1 engine in my 88 crx hf. im doing the vacuum lines and i notice that either my purge cut off solenoid valve, manifold absolute pressure map sensor, and my pressure regulator cut off solinoid valve is broken. heres a link to what im talking about https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=664153 . heres a picture of mine http://www.geocities.com/xxori...1.jpg its sitting inbetween the distributor and the edge of the valve cover. do i need to purchase a new one or can i use my old crx one (which i believe is the one in the box in the top right of that picture. if i can't how much should i look to spend on one of these and can i get it out of any 90 to 93 integra or does it have to be obd1 also. thanks to anyone who can help.

The honda-tech link showed up but not the other one. Let me TRY to help. If u are talking about the cylindrical thing that is attached to the motor in the spot where u described then that is not the MAP sensor or a purge valve, it is the VTEC solenoid. If the MAP sensor/purge valve assembly is sitting on the motor (which means whoever shipped u the motor or gave u the motor just put it there for shipping reasons then i cant tell u what sensor is broken. Wish the second link would have showed up for me but my computer is pretty gay...or maybe your link is gay? haha

no no, i was simply refering as to where the thing i was talking about was sitting. this part im talking about attatches to the firewall on the inside of the engine bay. where most of the vacuum lines meet and separate. thanks for the help though. yeah the link is gay. i need to get hooked up with we-todd. i probably will tonight.

i too have an 88 HF... what i did with my map sensor was i cut the 3 wires, and extended them to fit onto the obd1 map on the TB. i didnt run any vacum lines with my map sensor. its a 3 wire round plug thats in that little emissions box thingy. some of those lines will end up being capped off/plugged up. like the EGR stuff
