Backfire Issue
Small backfires, sometimes kinda loud. Usually happens when I let off the gas between 2-3k rpm. Any input, or is this normal with a hollowed cat and Greddy catback?
Yeah, tomorrow I am going to check the plug gap, adjust the timing, and do a valve adjustment. Ill let ya know how it goes. Anyone advance the timing and run higher octane to squeeze a bit more out of the ol' d16?
hollowed cat is cause, it would normally stifle those, and quieter exhaust you wouldn't hear it. Mine does it sometimes too. I do need to get a new Cat however, just to keep things legal.

Well that would get a litle bit more out of it, but is it worth the price of high octaine, I'd be curious what the diferences on the dyno would be and it it would really be worth it or not.
