New Member (Hopefully)
Hello Fellow Honda-Tech Members......I am nearing my 16th birthday and am planning to get a ITR as soon as I find one. A member gave me this site and told me to come here for any questions. My main concern I have is, if not an exhaust or intake (because of the increased air induction), what should I do to help improve the car's horsepower besides a turbo kit/supercharger? Thanks for your reply's and hopefully I will be able to join the ITR family
I would concentrate on trying to learn how to drive an ordinary car first....not trying to be an ***, but so many people have been getting into accidents lately; don't want to lose another R or member...
BTW, Welcome...........

Exactly. Since you're only sixteen, the car is going to feel fast enough already. My first car was a 3 cylinder Chevy (pre-Geo) with 70 hp. Be lucky your getting such an awesome car! Do a few autocrosses to see what it can do in a safe setting.
Straight line, I think so. However, I think modifying it with bolt ons doesn't help it much and is not worth it.
My first car was a 1980 Chevette...boo yeah!
