Eagle Rods are starting to faze out the 5/16 bolt rods at the begining of this year. The new rods will offer a 3/8 bolt ARP 2000 bolt.
The bolt upgrade previous was the Custom Age bolt. Which for Dseries is no longer produced by Eagle. Since they are all now produced with the 3/8 bolt. You can tell if you have the upgraded bolt if the sides of the rod big end is machined. Call Eagle they can verify this info. So some D series guys you might lucky when ordering the regular rods and get the upgraded ARP bolt.
