Default Off to a great start for '04 (not really)

Last night while pulling out of a super steep driveway I scrapped the crap out of my lip on my 97 ITR. After thinking to myself, damn, that's gonna leave a pretty scratch, I get home and notice the lip is slightly cracked. Yippie! I've been kicking myself all day. Then, after jumping on H-T I see two of you guys are dealt with a little bit more misfortune (to say the least), zygspeed (glad you're ok) and that sweet JDM one that rolled off a ramp. Let's hope this isn't the shape of things to come for '04.
If anyone has a CW lip, PY & black would work too, please don't hesitate to PM me!
-To a safe & theft-free New Year

thanks guys,
Matt

Im guessing its gonna be easier getting a 97 ITR lip in CW then PY or Black.

Slow down when you type. It's a visable crack and they are goi ot see it. I'm usually careful. I won't trip, I'll just flip to clip on a shinny new lip on my ride that's hip!

It's just a lip! I use mine to tell me when to stop when I'm parking!

Hopefully though you can get another one or maybe hide the crack on this one? Good luck either way!

Yeah it happens. Lips are a wear item as well, don't take it too seriously. They can be repaired rather easily or had new or used for a relatively decent price

Yeah. I see people looking for them all the time on here. It just stinks because the car is new to me & was so clean. Plus I'm picky. At least they come off with what seems to be about 10 mil bolts or so.

I scuffed my lip up recently too , luckily it can just be repainted.

If you have trouble finding a lip, you may wanna consider picking up one of these.

there are a couple other styles to choose from as well.

They look nice. I'd probably destroy carbon quicker though. They should sell 'em in packs of six or something.

I'd go with the carbon fiber.

It's just a lip. I backed out of a steep driveway new years eve and put another, yes another, dent in my "Ground Clearance Friendly Comptech Race Header." Woot!

That's gotta be a great feeling. D'oh! The Dc 4-1 I previously owned resembled a pancake at the bottom from all the tough love.
