Best way to put a switch panel where the DIN pocket is? Need ideas...
Well I want to put a switch panel right below the headunit where the DIN pocket is but I'm not sure how I should do it. When you take out the DIN pocket, there not much back there to secure the plexi to, or is there? Should I just keep the DIN pocket in and use L Brackets to attach the plexi or what? Any ideas are appreciated. And if you have any pix, post them up.
Whats up man. I still got that din pocket if you need it. I got a plate made out of aluminum that goes around the head unit down to the top of the cup holders. I never used the ashtray and I relocated the cigarette ligher jack incase I need it for anything. Im mounting my vafc and a few switches across there for misc stuff. If you wanna check it out give me a call.
I plan on keeping the ashtry and cig lighter where they are (no I dont smoke, i hate it. I just feel like keeping them there), I just want to put the panel where the DIN pocket is/was.
Well what kind of switch (es) are you looking to install? A rocker switch like:
or a toggle switch?
a rocker switch can be mounted right inside of the din pocket, i saw someone on here with that a long time ago. good thing about it is that you can even tell it's there. What's the switch for?

The switches are for a dual stage boost controller and for the antenna and maybe another one for future use. I just need to figure out the best way to mount a switch panel there.
